today, we went to this old church in Tagaytay; Calaruega. it was beautiful. it was so beautiful, it hurts…well, not really. what hurt there was that we went there around 2002-2003 with my late lola (may her soul rest in peace) and my Momma. we saw the bench in which we all sat in and took individual family pictures then the big family picture. as i look at it, i felt pain in my heart knowing that those times were only gonna be in my memories. those laughs we had, those jokes we cracked, those drinks that got spilled while laughing and those tears that slid off in the corner of our eyes. boy, those were the days.

today, i realized how precious life is and how valuable the presence of family in it is.  then i made this promise. every single effort i shall put out to anything, i will offer it to GOD and my family. why? cause i know that when everything is slowly falling down and you’ve got no where to go, they are the only ones who has your back and would fight to the finish with you. they’re the only ones that can make you believe in yourself fully.
